Birthday Party!

My good friend Ana Rosa was throwing a birthday party for her two kids. One of the birthday themes was Indiana Jones and the other one was an art theme. She hired me to help her out with the cakes and the party favors. I had such a blast doing them, but I didn't do a very good job ha ha. I told her that I should pay her for having to use the stuff I made. But it was a blast nonetheless. Here is the Indy Cake.
I also made his invitations like a treasure map. I tried to burn the outside so it looked legitimate but I almost set my carpet on fire and it was too windy to do outside. :)
These are sour gummy worms but they are supposed to represent snakes...ya know...since Indy is afraid of snakes.... anyway. The other cake I made looked like an artists pallet and we even put a paint brush on it but I forgot to take a picture of it because I was so tired. I finished that one at like midnight.

Yellowstone

For part of Brian's birthday celebration we went to Yellowstone for the day. Brian has been there lots of times as a kid and I have never been so it was fun for him to show me around. We saw lots of awesome things, ate a picnic lunch and got frozen yogurt! We had such a fun exhausting day. :)

Brian and Emily's Birthday Bash

So of course, as we all know, Emily and Brian share a birthday so we decided to have a shared birthday party at our house. We had a baked potato bar and lots of other yummies. And of course, we had to get them their own cakes so it didn't feel like they had to share a birthday. I made Emily a Pink lemonade Pie and Mitch and Kristin got Brian a huge fruit pizza pie. They were both so good. After Kristin fed Tricky we all ate and we sang (Transtrum style). Then we held up this giant lighter (that was in the shape of a golf club...thank you kirkhams) and Emily and Brian took turns blowing out the flame and making a wish. (I had no candles.) It was a blast but we had to end early because Em was heading out to Provo and we all got really tired from all the carbs. :) (P.S. That day, Emily and Mitch and Kristin went to Yellowstone and the day before this Brian and I went golfing for part of his birthday. I was only like 50 over par! It was a blast and we played until we couldn't see anymore. Happy Birthday Brian and Emily!)

Fire!!!!

So a few weeks ago there was a fire down by INL and all the smoke got caught in the cloudy sunset and it was probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Brian took all of these awesome pics! Dang he is good!

25 weeks!

So I told Brian we needed to take pictures of my gut before I exploded. Here is me at about 25 weeks! Yay! only 15 more to go! Oh and I was trying to be silly but Brian wanted me to be serious....very difficult

"Special" cupcakes

Emily had to do a presentation for one of her classes on puberty and the reproductive system so we got a little creative with the cupcakes. Sorry to anyone that is offended by this. Well...actually Im not that sorry because these are hilarious. We made over 55 cupcakes!

New and improved Everett pics

So i finally got all of the newest baby pics scanned... it took me forever! Anyway. Its sort of hard to tell what they are pictures of unless you know what you are looking for. So, one of them is a picture of his spine and if you look carefully you can see his little legs tucked underneath him. Another one is of his whole head and is really creepy because his eyes look hollow and the last one is a picture of his nose and mouth. The camera is facing upward so it sort of looks like he has a pig nose and teeth! AH! but dont worry...he doesn't. He is extremely attractive because well...look at his parents. :)

4th of July 2010

For 4th of July we had lots of festivities! (although we actually celebrated on the third). Annie and I went shopping all day and had a very funny adventure which was a blast, the boys went golfing and forged. Later the Kirkham's made us a huge meal of fried rice and we ate so much and drake made those melt-in-your-mouth cookies. Our friends Jessie and Dallin came over with their little girl Emery. We all watched Independence day and did crafts. Later we went out and lit off fire works and I was terrified that someone was going to blow their hands off! Oh and the flag picture is a flag that Brian got at his Eagle scout so we hung it in our window. Emily and I made 4th of July cookies and laughed our heads off at our Japanese and Canadian flag cookies.

Guitars Unplugged

Every semester the school puts on the biggest guitar show called Guitars Unplugged. Emily, my high voltage rock sister, played in the show! It was so awesome and she was the hottest performer there! It was so fun. Poor tricky though, every time people cheered he got so scared! After we went to our house and ate cobbler and played Catan. Mitch kicked our butts.

After the Sealing pics

These are all of the pictures we took while we were waiting for jeff and jenna to come out of the temple. And there they are!
